Joshua
Moses's assistant who led Israel into the promised land
Joshua served at Moses's side and was one of only two spies who trusted God to give Israel the land. After Moses died, God told him to be strong and courageous, and he led the people across the Jordan and saw the walls of Jericho fall. At the end of his life he called Israel to choose whom they would serve.
Key verse: Joshua 1:9

What Joshua teaches you
Faith. Be strong and courageous, not because the battle is small, but because God goes with you wherever He sends you.
Family. Decide for your own household that you will serve the Lord, and let that settled choice guide everyday life at home.
Business and calling. Learn faithfully under good leadership before you lead, and ask God before you sign agreements that only look good on the surface.
