Joseph

A betrayed son God raised to save many lives

Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, and in Egypt he was falsely accused and thrown into prison. God gave him wisdom to interpret Pharaoh's dreams, and he was made ruler over Egypt to store grain for the coming famine. When his brothers came for food, he forgave them and saw God's purpose in his pain.

What Joseph teaches you

Faith. What others meant for harm, God can use for good, so stay faithful in the pit and the prison as well as the palace.

Family. Forgiveness can rebuild a broken family, so let God heal your hurt before you decide what to do with those who caused it.

Business and calling. Serve with excellence wherever you are placed, and plan wisely in seasons of plenty so you can provide in seasons of need.
