Jochebed
Mother of Moses, Aaron, and Miriam
When Pharaoh ordered every Hebrew baby boy thrown into the Nile, Jochebed hid her son for three months. When she could hide him no longer, she placed him in a basket among the reeds. God turned her act of faith around, and she was paid to nurse her own son, who grew up to deliver Israel.

What Jochebed teaches you
Faith. When you have done all you can, release what you love into God's hands, and trust Him to keep it.
Family. The early years you pour into your children matter, so plant God's truth in them while they are in your care.
Business and calling. Do the wise, practical thing within your reach, then leave the outcome to God and watch Him open doors you could not.
