Seen in the Wilderness

Genesis 16:13 · AMP
Hagar was used, discarded, and sent into the wilderness, but God met her there. She is the only person in Scripture who gave God a name: El Roi, the God Who Sees. If you have ever felt invisible, overlooked, or thrown away, Hagar’s story is your story. God sees you in the desert. He has not forgotten you.

I believe God sees me, even when no one else does. My wilderness is not a wasteland; it is a meeting place.

I expect divine encounters in my most desolate seasons.
